Lifelong lessons learned from an apprenticeship

“If you do well at school you will get into University and get a good job; if you don’t do well, you can always do an apprenticeship.”

That’s the dubious advice Owain Williams heard many times when he was at college in England. But instead of packing his bags and heading off to uni, Owain worked in a brewery then went on to complete an apprenticeship in business development and marketing.
