What's where at NMIT?
NMIT’s Nelson Campus is in the centre of Nelson, close to the cafes, bars and life the city is noted for. Among the facilities on offer at NMIT are the modern Creative Industries building (a fully digitally equipped arts, design and media facility) and the purpose-built Applied Technology building (including the latest trades workshop spaces and maritime simulation technologies).
With Marlborough producing over 75% of New Zealand’s wine, the Marlborough Campus is a natural home to NMIT’s Viticulture programmes. Also based there are the Aquaculture programmes (one of NZ’s fastest growing industries) and the NMIT Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering programmes linked to the RNZAF Woodbourne airbase.
The Auckland campus pretty much caters for international students and is weighted towards postgraduate studies.

In Nelson, first year students in particular can live on campus with other students in modern one, two, three or four bedroom apartments and enjoy convenient access to classes and facilities, the Library Learning Centre and all the amenities of the city
